Clams Casino Flat Bread Recipe

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 slices of thick-cut bacon, chopped and cooked until slightly crispy and extra fat removed

  • ½ cup of each: onion, red pepper and green

  • 1 tbsp, minced garlic

  • 10 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese

  • 1½ cups fresh chopped clams, drained

  • Salt and pepper

Ask your local pizzeria for some dough; they’ll give it to you for a buck or two. Once home, stretch out your dough on a floured surface. Preheat oven to the highest setting. If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.

Drizzle the dough with olive oil and add a pinch of salt and pepper. Top with all ingredients and bake for 8 to 10 minutes—or until the dough is crispy. For an extra kick, drizzle hot sauce on the pizza when it comes out of the oven.
